Current Marks: What do the letters under term mean? What do the numbers under meet mean? Why are some of the final grades missing? Schedule/Progress: Why is the teachers's name underlined? When I click on the teacher's name, it does nothing, or wants me to set something up. The assignments in the progress report don't seem current. Errors: Why am I getting "The page cannot be found"? GENERAL INFORMATION: PASS is a direct extension of the program the South Bend Junior/Senior High School uses to keep track of student data. It is updated regularly every fifteen minutes. Teachers have the option of uploading progress reports as often as they would like, but generally are only asked to update it once a week (Mondays). There are many technical processes required to keep PASS up-to-date. Any of which may have difficulty form time to time. As we use PASS, we hope to eliminate all the glitches. Thank you for your patience. GRADING: For grades there are two sections most people are concerned with: CURRENT MARKS: This section displays the final grades by quarter and semester. SCHEDULE/PROGRESS: This section displays the student's schedule and allows you to view their current standing in class. What do the letter under term mean? YR Year-long Class S1 First Semester Only S2 Second Semester Only What do the numbers under meet mean? These represent the period the class is held in. Why are some of the final grades missing? First, click to make sure that the quarter or semester has already been completed. Also, semester classes will only show grades for half the year, respectively. When I click on the teacher's name, it does nothing or wants me to set something up. By clicking on the teacher's name, it calls your computer's default email program. If you have not setup email on your computer, or you use online email such as hotmail, or yahoo, then it will attempt to setup email on your computer. You will need to send the teacher an email through other means. The assignments in the progress report don't seem current. At the top of the page is a date range. This is set by the teacher, and results are from that time period. At the bottom of the page is another date letting you kinow when it was created. This is not the last time the teacher updated their grades. If you have questions, you should consult the teacher. ERRORS: This is a new system, so if you encounter errors that are not listed here, please contact the school at 875.5707. Why am I getting "The page cannot be found."? This error occurs when what you're trying to access either doesn't exist, or you have put in the incorrect ID?PIN combination. Verify that you have the correct ID and PIN. Otherwise, contact the school. |
