• South Bend School District's new Census population is 2625, a gain of 80 from the 2010 Census population.  Due to ten years of population growth unevenly distributed throughout our district, the director districts need to be rebalanced to ‘As Equal as Possible’ using the 2020 Census per the RCW 29A.76.010.  

    South Bend School District contracted with Sammamish Data Systems to develop proposed school director districts that are balanced according to the new Census data.  This proposal can be seen here and is available for public comment.  In addition, the board of directors will hold a public hearing to receive public comment on these proposed changes at 6:30 pm on February 24, 2022 at their regular meeting.
